Just for Today!

without comments

Just For Today ~ Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours ~ your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have!

Just For Today ~ Be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and don’t criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, its just for one day. Who knows, it might turn out to be a Nice Day!

back to college soon!

Lesley has decided that she will pursue the PharmD program real soon ….. She is going back to school to fulfill her dreams to become a Registered/Licensed Pharmacist! The program will take another 4 years to complete in order for her to graduate with a Doctor in Pharmacy studies. A normal Pharmacy program takes 7 years to complete but she will have her Bachelor of Science in Medical Techonology http://laboratorian.advanceweb.com to cover the 3 years of PharmD requirements. Lesley has always been a smart kid and has fully shown her good results during her undergraduate degree program at NDSU http://www.ndsu.edu with a CGPA of 4.00 every semester until she graduated in May 2007 and of course, as parents, we’re very proud of her achievement!

As a Licensed Medical Technologist (ASCP) & a Licensed Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) and working 2 jobs, she knows that her schedule is very hectic to go full time at the moment. She is working well on it ….. her plan is to eventually study full time but that is not until Fall 2009. She has not really chosen where to study yet but its great if its nearby. Unfortunately, there is no University in Boise that offers the PharmD program and the nearest would at Idaho State University in Pocatello.

Lesley has registered as a non-degree seeking student at Boise State University http://www.boisestate.edu to start with. She has planned to take up Organic Chemistry this summer but unfortunately, the class was already full. However, when another class opened up with an availability, her schedule can’t fit in with her two hectic job schedules. She has now planned to take up a couple of courses this Fall. Good Luck Lesley!!
