Cool Friday ~ the 13th
Friday, the 13th and the start of really cold days ahead …. snow can be seen on the mountains. Went out for a merchandise return this afternoon. Took this picture on the way out and it was about 4pm … leaves are on the ground, in a beatiful spread! Am on my day off but will work all weekend of fun at my part-time job. Brrr its 31F or -1C!!!
just some progress
I’ve got a 2nd job ~ just a seasonal one! As simple as it is …. I do need more time figuring out which days I should be working there and bearing in mind that my full time job is still the priority. Well this will only be from mid November to mid January, a short span of time. I thought it was fun trying out and get more exposure in other areas of my usual routine. Would be stressful I think but will try to work it out to my best! I do get to work less days in my other job to accommodate for the seasonal one which I do not mind at all ~ just for a couple of months! Hopefully all will turn out to my expectation. We’re not planning on going anywhere during the winter … will stay much at home besides spending time at work. Not a good time to travel though …will wait till next spring/summer to come by again. Made another trip to the Cascade which was much fun … surrounded by just the sound and feel of nature ~ sharing some of my shots! Am still working for more in my flickr site.
the autumn look
They were proposing to have a ‘baby picture contest’ at work … with a Theme ~ a Memoir! Well not many had their pictures though. For me, I do not think I’ve had one with me now! Probably will have Lesley’s baby pic for this?! The department is always constantly having something to work on or rather a project to be completed …. big or small. Participation is active, not really compulsory but its fun when you’re in it!

a Thursday wrap up
Was happy to talk to Mom & Dad tonight .. it was like at noon their time. Glad that Mom is indeed a lot better now as she mentioned that she does not feel the pain as it used to be. She was going back for therapy, nothing serious but to get into the ’suitable’ exercise equipment of sort! She can now walk without pain and her knees are just fine. Glad that everything went fine for her. Also tried to call my sister but she did not answer and probably was busy at that time … well she sent me a text message that she was a field trip.
Its supposed to rain/snow later tonight and and if this forecast is precise, this should be our first snowfall for the season! Not really excited here … its brrrrrrrr right now, a little windy outside as well!
I had better be off to bed now as I’ll be working early tomorrow. Had a short day off today and managed to prepare a Lemon Chicken dish for everyone!!!! Should have taken a picture but did not think about it today.
