A White Christmas 2008

without comments

Attended mass this morning  to start off our day … it was wet and snowing !    The snow fall was really pretty  ~ was indeed a White Christmas for Boise this year!    Took this picture of  St John’s Cathedral’s beautiful Altar …  Clicked with the old Canon camera, it turned out dark and awful!   Lesley has brought the other camera with her to Tokyo … I need to get one of my own!   Well … can’t handle a more complicated camera like Bernard’s new Nikon too as I think its too bulky!  Sharing two contrasting pictures below …..

Up & blinking!

with one comment

Got our Christmas tree set up late this year … have been busy lately.  Finally its up and blinking!    Got some new ornaments added to it with some old ones put aside for now.  I was thinking of buying a smaller tree but thought it was a water of money.  This Christmas tree is 7.5 ft high which I did not like after all as there are more ornaments to cover the whole tree.    Added some creative graphic to it!      Well might get a smaller one next year or the year after next …   St John’s Cathedral was fully decorated when I attended mass last Sunday and like usual,  was indeed beautiful. Well am excited that Christmas is just around the corner …

a relaxing day

without comments

Happy to have an off day today … Monday that is!   Haven’t had a Monday or rather a weekday off for a long time now. Will leisurely be gone window shopping and perhaps finding something important and needed. Lesley has mentioned that she has not been shopping for an outfit for quite sometimes and hopefully we’ll find something then.

It snowed this morning, not much but just very light and melted away when the temperature rose to 40F and water is pooling as a result of the melted snow.

Have not had time to set up my Christmas tree … thought of having it out later today. I bought some new Christmas ornaments the other day and will indeed add some glitter to the tree.
